Improving work conditions for women

At Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AO, Governor of South Australia, hosted a reception to present two $10 000 Augusta Zadow Awards to fund projects that will improve the work health and safety of working women.
A $10,000 award to Dr Olivia Lockwood and Andy Roberts will finalise the development of strategies to reduce common injuries to sonographers in their work performing ultrasound examinations, to be undertaken at the SA Biomedical Engineering, Research and Teaching Department at Flinders Medical Centre.
